Ohio County, WV - The Orchard Park 1 Pre-K students are most recently engaged with the buildings study as part of Creative Curriculum. Ms. Becca and Ms. Maria handed the children "a lot" of cardboard rolls and watched them create their masterpieces. First, they split up into two groups, then each group voted on what they were going to build. After consensus was reached in each group, then they had to problem-solve to determine what type of 'construction' materials would hold their project together. They used teamwork, and worked extremely hard using glue and tape. Those children at Ms. Becca's table made a Castle, and at Ms. Maria's table made Disney. The finished products are now on display in the front lobby. Ohio County Schools
